Setup Email Filters in cPanel

If you wish to filter out certain emails coming into your inbox, you can set up email filters to achieve this.

There are two types of email filters you can use in cPanel which are Global Email Filters and Email Filters.

Global Email Filters will apply the filter rule to all email accounts in the cPanel whereas Email Filters can be applied to an individual account.


Global Email Filters

Step 1 - Login to cPanel

Step 2 - Click on Global Email Filters

Step 3 - Click on Create a New Filter

Step 4 - Give the filter a (1) name, specify the (2) rule, choose the (3) action and then (4) create

Email Filters

Step 1 - Login to cPanel

Step 2 - Click on Email Filters

Step 3 - Click on Manage Filters for the respective email address

Step 4 - Click on Create a New Filter
